How do clothes impact the outcome of our interactions?
About
Bregje Cox is a Dutch designer who creates high-quality innovative garments that generate a narrative about how clothing affects how other people perceive us and how we think about ourselves. If how we dress impacts the outcome of our interactions, can we use fashion to influence our mental and physical health?
Her studio NOIR NEAR FUTURE works on interdisciplinary projects that combine fashion, science, psychology, and technology with a strong focus on human behavior.
Project
ENCLOTHED COGNITION
Together with Mark King, she founded ENCLOTHED COGNITION. This brand aims to empower people by making them aware of the interaction between the clothing we wear, the built environment, and the human mind.
ENCLOTHED COGNITION: Empathy coat, a visual primer, is an installation that seeks to inspire discussion around the connection between design and wellbeing. If how we dress impacts the outcome of our interactions, can we use fashion to positively influence our well-being?
